Professional Development
As a student, I have participated in several professional meetings and attained certifications that demonstrate my commitment to my professional development in the field of dietetics. Through professional meetings, I have built several professional relationships throughout the nutrition community and received mentorship from several Registered Dietitians as well as mentoring current coordinated porgram in dietetics students (CRDN 2.9).

As an attendee of three inter-professional meetings, I was able to work one-on-one with students in other professions and work in groups with students and professors from different areas of studies as well as within my own profession. In these meetings, we learned about the role of different professions in the healthcare setting and how we can all work together to enhance our patient's experience (CRDN 2.4). After completion, I received the virtual Health IPE badge provided.

As an attendee of the Dairy MAX Symposium, I learned about the benefits of milk as well as participate in hands-on cooking activities alongside Registered Dietitians and dietetic students at the Culinary Institute of America.

ICPD Mentorship
I have attended ICPD events in which we discussed our rotations and given advice on how to succeed at different rotation sites. Additionally, we are planning on having a mentoring session with future ICPD students prior to the start of school (CRDN 5.7).
